Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and Discover. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
To cancel your order you must notify us within seven {7} working days following the day of delivery.
Should you wish to exercise your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations your order may only be cancelled in writing, by fax or by e-mail. Telephone cancellations cannot be accepted. The goods must be returned in an unused and re-saleable condition. You are responsible for the cost of safe return back to us. We advise you take out appropriate insurance to cover the product during its return journey.
If you are unable to return the product to us within seven {7} you must contact us to arrange collection which will be at your cost
Delivery Schedule
We attempt to deliver your order right away. Orders must be placed before 1pm EST to be shipped that same day. We will normally send your order to you within 5 business days . Unfortunately we cannot deliver to customers outside of the USA or Canada. Please contact Mercian directly for your nearest stockist.

Please note that UPS do not deliver on weekends.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
For orders made from within the United States sales tax will be apllied to all in state orders. Our business is operated from Kansas. All other orders are tax free, please make sure to click the exempt box to reduce tax to zero.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. Sticks are guaranteed against defective production only, this does not include general wear and tear, grips, end caps and paint chipping. All field hockey sticks purchased for the 2010 season are guaranteed for 12 months from purchase. Any defective equipment must be returned for inspection. If an item is replaced, it will be replaced with the same product and returned to you freight pre-paid.
Mercian will not replace sticks that have been damaged due to hard front-edge hitting, a skill that is illegal under the rules of Hockey.
If you bought a Mercian stick direct from us or from one of our retailers you will need to contact us first before returning the stick. It may be a problem we can fix.
We suggest taking a digital photo of your stick and a short description of what you think maybe defective and we can assess the next step.

Savage Field Hockey do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. Returns Policy
In the unlikely event of requiring to return goods to us please follow these instructions to avoid delay in processing your return.
a) When returning goods to us you the customer are responsible for the safe carriage of the product back to us.
b) You should return any product in its original packaging along with all related paperwork via suitably insured means that covers the full value of the goods. Please retain your receipt confirming the return. If returned products are lost we will not be liable for them.
c) Please contact us before retunring any equipment.
d) A restocking handling fee of up to 25% may be charged for returned items.
Remittance Terms
We will maintain published prices as long as possible. However, if unavoidable cost increases are incurred, we do reserve the right to alter our prices accordingly. We will inform the customer of any price changes before despatching the goods.
